I am with Peter - it is amazing to jam with you guys!!
Nice guitar Dan! That was exact, what this song needs to be complete.

Tinker...I know exactly what it is you are talking about and I think it just boils down to inspiration. Some of my worst work here and on stage etc., is when I play what I think will compliment rather than feeling it and letting it flow. Sometimes there are more mistakes in those moments for me but when I try to go back and "fix" or "re-do" it never quite catches that original moment...it's fleeting sometimes ya know? This song for instance didn't jump at me until the vox went on it. I would have never heard the part in my head that I recorded without the vox...meaning the same thing, before the vox, I didn't have a feel for where it could go. It's what makes us appreciate the guys like Hendrix etc who just "had it" 24-7 it seemed :) +1

i love composing drums. ever since I've started wikiloops it has taken me to different sides of music. the weird thing is i never listened to tinkers drums until after i uploaded my remix . i respect anyone who writes music. anybody can learn cover songs but true music that comes from the soul is what music and being a musician is all about. having a tool like wikiloops is a very cool way to be expressive with people you never met. i have defiantly clicked with certain wikiloopers better than others but i look forward to jamming with more of you. +1

And that's what I love about wikiloops. This site is so innovative and is still somewhat underground. Not only do I get to share my own creations but I get to hear all of yours. So much talent. I want to jam with everyone here. Plus youve all been so thoughtful and caring and open minded to experimenting. This is far better music that any current corporate music played on the radio. I love how were all conquering new frontiers. I only wish there was more time in the day for jamming. I know you all see me on here a lot but its not for anything other than my addiction for music. I live and breathe it and I get the feeling I'm not the only one :) +1

This composition is a PRIME example of what can be done on this website. The first artist to lay down the track is at a disadvatage...but Peter is brilliant. The rest of you guys really put some thought and effort into this; built layer by layer on top of each other. Shum has inspired me to work on my double kick, for sure! It's dirty, soulful and sounds, almost, like you guys were in the same studio...I'm so impressed. Thanks for sharing, all of you. +1

:) great solo. That's exactly where I intended it to go. This makes me so happy to have you guys jam with with me on this. Each one of you has such an awesome part. +0

That's pretty cool guys. Michelangelo once started with a huge block of granite and kept chipping away at it until the statue of David appeared. It's fascinating to me to see how this all came about. I never saw this song in there when Peter first laid down the guitar track.

Listening to it now, it sounds like you guys planned all this from the outset. How did that happen? I played drums on Peter's original track. What I played complimented what Peter played but I didn't take the song anywhere new. Then Shumdrummer laid some drums on it and it had more depth, more character which you guys built on.

What did Shum see that I didn't? It's like he had a vision for where it could go and played with that in mind and you guys did the same. I guess I need to develop that vision. Thanks for showing how it's done. This is one of the things I really like about Wikiloops.
