Midoru Thank you very much, Mike - great comment! Have been spending much time studying recording techniques of the 50s-60s, in particular the work of engineers Rudy Van Gelder and Roy DuNann, trying to reproduce that clean and present vintage sound. Really digging the old school :) +3

Oh! I have missed this somehow. I got so far behind in my absence. Gorgeous piece here Midoru. Immediately I was taken to another world. I love it when a musical track can draw you away. Phenomenal power to this one! The lower notes pretty much describe how I feel these days...and the higher notes how I wish I felt. If that makes any sense? In any sense you have indirectly written the soundtrack to my current disposition. Loving this piece! +2
