I'm not sure I got it quite right at 3:00. I tried several different things, but ended up going with a chromatic descent.

YES! YOU DID IT!

Great job in the transition. The chromatic bass descent is exactly right. The most important thing is to stay on that first root for two chords and THEN move. You heard it perfectly.
