I think my pc-equipment has taking the BPM a little down when I was working with this great song by Gabriel. I hope it will not be a problem. :) I mixed a swing-jazz beat to the song to give it a little jazz-blues feeling because I thought it would be nice and an underline to the song by Alice and the saxophone by Mark. When the drums, especially the ride-cymbal, is mixed in the right channel I panned the bass ...

Yes we are lucky today that we can change the tempo without changing the key and voices. :) My very first multitrack-recorder (Cassette tape) could change the tempo too but the key would be either lower or higher as well.In this case Alice´s wonderful voice would have changed so she would suond like Mickey-Mouse. :D +0

I was hopping the song slower to get this swing feel when i was singing! this still sounds great peter, that bass walking so sweet, and the drums added a great touch too, so glad to hear this idea and have you play with us here! +0
