Hängen geblieben

Früher war alles viel besser,
sagen alle hängen gebliebenen Leute.
Früher war alles viel schöner,

Früher war alles viel billiger, die Zigaretten,
das Benzin und das Dope.
Früher konnte man noch ausgehen,
ein paar mal in der Woche.
Da haben wir noch Schallplatten gehört,
von Hendrix und Zappa und so.
Und haben auf Matratzen gechillt,
um die Wasserpfeife herum.

Heute, sind wir hängen geblieben...

Früher sind wir mit dem Auto weggefahren,
nach Italien und Spanien und so.
Bis runter nach San Fernando,
mit dreihundert Mark.
Damals waren die Leute noch viel besser drauf.
Eine andere Zeit.
Irgendwie waren die Leute noch viel ehrlicher
und keine solchen Wixer, wie heute.

Früher gab es noch keine Mobil-Telefone
und auch keinen PC.
Und wenn man ehrlich sein will,
hat es auch gar nicht gefehlt.
In zwanzig Jahren
wird heute ganz lang her sein
und was lang her war,
war dann viel besser als heute.

Dann seid Ihr hängen geblieben, genau so wie wir...

and also no PC.
