Here is one dedicated to two friends I met on Wikiloops, and I have both of them on the same track:
First one is the one and only Kimbo. Let me tell you about Kimbo, he is a GREAT rhythm guitarist, he lays down a steady backing where other instruments can then do their thing like floating on a waterbed. SMOOOOOTH!!! But not just Rhythm, he can solo as well, which you can hear in this track where we swap solos. Kimbo also has an exceptional ear, many times he has helped me with mixing and tips about tracks, stuff that I just don't hear.
But. BUT!!! BUT!!!!! Other than the music, Kimbo is a great guy, a true friend and anybody who has met him will testify to that. Love you man, hope to see you soon!!
In addition, this track also features Incivanpico on vocals. Pico is also someone who I personally met, he is a sweet gentle giant with a very special voice and a big heart - I wish he was back singing for us, maybe one day we'll hear another of his wonderful stories. Peace brother!

Thanks Tee, you know, there's a great 'togetherness' feel to this track - like when a good football team pass smoothly between each, dribble a free flowing ball, then whoosh, up, up into the air and.... right into the net - lovely, and a nice tribute from you. I will go and check out those guys now :)

Since I returned to wikiloops in May (away for 10 years) I was captured by the frequent templates of two musicians so I'd like to thank them here with both playing together in a simple, relaxing way.
FrankieJ and hartmut... Thank you.
I don't know them in person but I always get lovely feedback from both <3<3 Shamika

A 'Thank You' Thursday to a couple surviving members of the Waterval troupe. I'm glad experimental music thrives here sometimes.

Hello Thursday!
When I discovered this place, I have been caught especially by Marceys and AlexJ. I was shy and anxious about posting my remixes but the guys wrote kind comment.
They gave me confidence .
Then Martin has joined wikiloops few months later…
I felt myself as I was taking part of a “Band” :)
I’m lucky for having met Martin and Marc IRL because of WikiMeetings.
About wikimeetings, we were not a band all together, we were a Family.
That was my thankful day, thank you for reading.
Before Javisax fabulous add,
This track was already the symbol of achievement to me, I was feeling myself as a “musician”
Thank you Richard, Thank you loopers, thank you Wikiloops.
Enough Thankful? :D

MikeB - I'm a big fan or experimental composition, it's music in it's most 'modernist' form. This has the feel of a Film soundtrack to me, thanks for that :)
Tofzegrit - Your words warmed my heart, so glad those wikiloopers took you under their wings, what you are making together is true Jamming harmony, love it, Thanks for the thanks :)

I wondered where you were shiihs :0
Hey, it's never too late to post a song on the wiki Wind Down thread. I'm a big fan of narrated poetry especially when it makes you think and particularly with a fitting piano backing - Thanks for joining in B)

I must finally thank the wikiloopers who joined me this week most every day (You know who you are) :) I was hoping "Wind down with wikiloops Week" would appeal to more folk because there's so much music here that is mood changing, relaxing, thought provoking and damned amazing. I also had more wellbeing exercises I could have brought to the event :( However, I did hear, learn and meet people this week that pleased me so that's a positive.
Thank you, Shamika x
Finally let's hope for a BIG FRIDAY BONANZA. Music that makes YOU feel good for whatever reason. Actually that means anything goes. Friday seems to be a special day here at wikiloops.com so let's pull out all the music stops before the weekend begins :W:Y:D:P:o<3

Just enjoy Friday, and make it the best Wind Down of the week !

Although there are many tracks on wl that make me feel good, I chose one that might have been overlooked a bit. A (surprisingly?) non-experimental track:

Seren is such a nice girl and her Welshness is unique at wikiloops and then there's her harp and other instruments BUT for Friday Fun I'm offering up this very English sounding song. The contrast between the heavy rock and the funny little rap is such a hit :D

Hehe I love Fridays :)
For feelgood Friday I suggest a song by The Herring King Band, which I am a proud member of. This song has some really funny lyrics sung by the late GemmyF, and has a very cool "chicken guitar" solo on it (I love doing animal sounding solos, I did the "Whale" and also the "Dog" before, but this is probably a theme for another thread).

P.S. if you want to understand the context, listen to the previous track of the album https://www.wikiloops.com/backingtrack-jam-134181.php ;)

Fun, funky, freaky, friday. A great un-remixed template by DanDiplo. An early halloween treat as Dan points out in the comments. Thank you Shamika for creating some fun here at wikiloops.

I enjoyed these song in different ways.
Thanks TeeGee, I once made a song completely of cat noises :) Tofzegrit. Such a lovely vocal and MikeB. I think we'll have a good time at Halloween :) it's a great opportunity to go crazy and scary!

Pfffff cat noises, that is easy half of my tracks have sections that sound like a cat s being tortured :D (unintentionally of course B) ). I date you to do a chicken track! Or a Walross

Chicken Track? if you mean the fossil, I'm not that old. Oh you meant DARE not date haha!
Walross (walrus) I had to Google that.
Apparently walruses are among the most vocal of the pinnipeds. They produce
"growls, taps, knocks, grunts, barks, soft whistles, rasps, and clicks"
Wow! there's my next song :o
