Hmmm there were 215 in my age group of 60-65, and I came in 46. Not happy... what happened is that I forgot to bring my sports watch with me, I use it to pace myself and then pick up the speed once I am past the half way line. The result was that I was jogging along, and suddenly I saw the 4 km sign :O So I picked up the pace but it was a bit too late to get a good time. Ah well, next time. As my favourite footballer said: Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.

what was your time TeeGee? I think I saw u post some times before, seemed darn fast. I used to run 5Ks in my early 40s then stopped. I wish I kept it up. was fun though, did those 'color runs' too, although they were quite aggressive with throwing color at you lol :D actually, was doing it because my daughter was in track. I miss those times.

My time at the race was 30:16 for 5.4 km - which is definitely slower that I could have run, at least a minute. Anyway, next year I will be better prepared! It was fun though, weather was good, lots of people cheering on from the sides, met an old friend who I haven't seen in years, so it was a good experience.

Currently, I'm working on lighting for a play based on Agatha Christie's crime stories, then for a puppet show, and later for an opera, so I'm less active on Wiki Loops. But after that, I'll return to playing the guitar.

Today is a good day. Yesterday we've got our water intake to the new washing machine fixed, so today we washed the first batch with it. No more dip dip dip in the wish wish wish in the water in the water - clean! :D
Edit: hmmm I see that it's July already, so wrong forum post... but why oh why does nothing rhyme on July? :D
