Body temperature?

So.. a thing i've noticed, is my body temperature will increase when i am playing guitar. Around 15 - 30 minutes into my session, i will heat up and get kinda sweaty (Not disgustingly wet like i would if i took a run haha!)

Does this happen to other people too? or am i just a weirdo?
Why does it happen? it is slightly annoying honestly!

Oh, if i play in front of an audience, i tend to get a bit nervous and and sweaty that way, but this is pretty logical to me, so thats not it.

What im talking about happens.. when im alone practicing a new piece, or playing something i already know. Exhausting metal shredding or calm classical, it does not matter.

Can't say that happens to me, but everyone is different... I would not let it annoy me though :)

The annoying thing is my finger tips getting sweaty/greasy too, and it kinda destroys my strings in no time. =/ (Not so much my hands, small edit)

i also tried some coated strings, i cant say i notice much of a difference..
if anyone have a brand to recommend, i'd love to try, i use 0.10 atm, but i wanna downsize to 0.9..

I think the real important thing is to wipe the strings after you finished playing. I don't use it as I have really dry strings, my last set lasted over a year :O . I saw that some people use this, so I would give it a go

Adrenalin raises the heart rate. You are also mentally stimulated in a band environment especially on stage, not to mention lighting. I sweat like crazy. Yes always wipe your instrument down before putting back into the case.
