<Sigh> - How does this guy always sound _sooooo_ good? Great guitar solo around the 1:30 mark as well. I've no idea who the other musicians on this are or where it comes from - anyone know?

Well dedication without any end, years of practice, and making it your job I guess? ;) This could be "UFP", the "Unidentified Flying Project" who also recorded this:

There's a longer "making of" which explains a bit of their work:

And yes, I've also written about it before, on http://wolfgang.lonien.de/2017/03/pino-and-stravinsky/ - Pino's a must see for any bass player.
HTH, and cheers,
Wolfgang

I think it is JimJam, look on Wikipedia.
I have seen Pino play with The Who a couple of times and I also saw the fantastic Ian Thomas at the London Bass Show, and he is amazing. I met John Taylor there too!
Jim Mullen - guitar
Hamish Stuart - guitar
Pino Palladino - bass
Ian Thomas - drums

@Wjl - that would be some comfort to the rest of us except that he seems to always have been incredible!
@Tof Oh yes -"Bela Boogie" one of my favourite pieces of music - and available as a free download from their website!
Check this out with Nine Inch Nails as well - phenomenal...

I think Mr Mayer might have not liked that :D
I'm guess it's from a concert with multiple cams, and that they made a bass cam footage of it later on...maybe
