new Alesis Edrum kit . a little trouble with latency. I did much tweaking with the driver preferences got it down to 2.5 or something like that without popping, breaking up. I might have it figured out. I;m using old style midi cable 25 or 30 FT long probably not good. any one think I should get the printer style midi to USB? let me know. thanks:)

Hi Mike I use Reaper with a Scarlet TwoPlusTwo. I also use the old style printer cable. Length is 15 ft long almost zero latency. Asio drivers from the Scarlet software. Sample format is 24 bit 48000 Hertz. Also using solid state drive ,and the lowest setting the focusrite Will Go On 32 bit. Hope this helps
