Hey,
is it just me, or is something strange with the uploading of images to your personal profile changed?
First, there's something weird with the mouse-over going on, you sometimes have to place it slightly *over* the checkbox for an upload to change it to a clickable hand.
Then, after uploading an image which basically seems to work, you can't edit it, and get an empty frame for the image. Saving and looking at your profile shows nothing, so it doesn't seem to be stored in your profile...
Looks like this (this picture is on my own server):

Tried that with images of different size (like 1.3MB or so for the original one, a smaller one to show the error which didn't work as well).
Tried it with Firefox 78.9.0esr (64-bit) and Chrome Version 90.0.4430.72 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Red Hat Linux 8.3 on the work notebook, and on my own machine with Debian Linux 10, and on Windows 10 where I also confirmed it with their latest Edge browser.
Can anyone confirm, or refute?
Thanks and cheers,
Wolfgang

Thanks for the confirmation Tee. The upload or changing of the top image works, as I've just tested with https://www.wikiloops.com/artist/Streicher.php

I'm experiencing the same problem Wolfgang. I also tried some of the same remedies you tried. Same result.

Ok, here's something which I haven't verfied yet, but it sounds related at least: our new user Dasher cannot upload an avatar image, last PM he sent about it was:
"hi ! ~ thanks - This is where i have tried about four times . . .yes - regardless of my regular JPG dimensions , it will not permit upload . Tit places a red outlined rectangle around my intended avatar's failure notice . It is a caricature . But the other two photo's for the profile category sections are notated as upload because their file names are documented - but then it will not allows any of them to be saved and reveals the edit-profile-page's clean slate as soon as i refresh my edit profile page"
I'll point him to this open thread, so he can follow it as well.
Thanks, Wolfgang

This might not be connected, but generally, you should not have empty spaces in the picture name "picture 2" will not take, it will have to be "picture2" for instance.

Is there back-office work getting me (my user) setup for uploading images to my gallery, just after upgrading? It's okay if someone is doing something manual, like IT work ... I just want to know why (right after and same day) I can't upload my images to the gallery?
