Band for folk jam tracks and album

Hi guys we are musicians from all over the world. Every area have specific folk melodies, instruments, interesting music technics, which are veluable and interesting . Do you feel that we can organize band with extended number of musicians and create such music. At the end shure should be album or albums. Tracks can also be based on rock folk elements. Let me know if this is a good idea and have followers for such band. Thanks. Name can be decided later on.
