Search by Member(s)

A very useful tool this would be. Example: I had the notion to create of an album of tracks containing works by me and the Waterval folks. The way to do this as is would be to open up my track list, open the page all the way to the beginning, and then do a draining brain scroll across pages of info.

Improvement: add a textbox or two allowing searching by member. This would appear under your tracks tab, past the current search filters.

Valid point! Not sure if the placement in "my tracks" would be the ideal place, tho. I once had a member picker on the track search page that would do just that, and that was pretty nice to play with. It is however one of the options you will only feel a need for when being heavily active on the 'loops, so I dropped the idea to not have too many options.
If you are a first time visitor to wikiloops, you simply do not know any usernames to go for yet, so that doesn't make a lot of sense there.

There are two options I'd recommend:
Try a textsearch consisting of only the desired user names, separated by blanks. That might work.
Second: Go to a track that has exactly the deired line up, the open the "same musicians" Tab on the right side panel (on desktop screen, that is) - that should provide a handy list, tho it only finds exact lineup matches.

I'll give the member search on tracks page a reconsideration, got some more pressing tasks on the list right now tbh.
