Folks, I'm your Christmas Angel,
I live in a cardboard box,
In the attic by a fondue set,
And several pairs of Crocs,
But for two weeks in December,
Something magic comes to pass,
You get me out and shove a tree,
Right up my tiny a**.
Yes, I'm your Christmas Angel,
Made of toilet roll and love,
With a little glue and glitter,
For the halo up above,
If only I could spread my wings,
I'd fly toward the sun,
But your doggie chewed the left one off,
In 2021.
Christmas comes but one a year,
When everything looks nice,
Unless one parent's Orthodox,
('Cause then they do it twice*),
And I watch you eat and drink,
And have a splendid festive time,
While I sit here on my lonesome,
With a butt that smells of pine.
Oh, Christmas Angel... sing me your song,
Sing of peace on earth and boundless joy,
That lasts the season long,
And though no one else will hear it,
While they're all tucked up in bed,
Won't you sing it now for one who walks,
Where Angels fear to tread.
