Vintage music pieces discovered randomly in old movies or old TV series

When watching an old series or movie, and suddenly a piece of music comes up that moves you, I sometimes go searching for the song using a music identification service. Anyone who feels the same is welcome to join me—maybe even highlight a musical gem from a film and share it here. It would be wonderful to discover these tracks together while also getting to know the movies or series they're from. And if you’re interested, it could even be a fun way to learn some foreign languages!

Good topic, Hartmut :) :W
Some of my favourite songs of all times are from movies, or even older than TV. Wrote about one of them in:
https://wolfgang.lonien.de/2018/10/wilbur-ware-double-bass/
because the bass player in this version is unbelievably good. But the original song is from 1929 or so, and it was also used in two movies. Here is an old recording of it:

During the closing credits of a very nice movie I saw (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Life_as_a_Courgette for more info about it), they played Sophie Hunger's beautiful cover of "Le vent nous portera" from the French band Noir désir. Here's her record of it:

wikiloops online jamsessions are brought to you with friendly

I supported Wikiloops not for their name, I support it because it was a great idea & is a great way for musicians to jam outside their circles.
