More than a year now since I lost Cindy,
I've searched for her every day since then,
On the sleek metal streets of Robo City,
Where death come easy to the mortal men.

She ran the soup kitchen over on Ford street,
Where the desperate people still congregate,
There ain't many left and most are starving,
Cindy couldn't leave them to face their fate.

Cindy I'll find you, whatever the cost,
In the cold steel maze where the hope seems lost,
Robo City rollers wearing me thin,
But I’ll bring you home girl, I won’t give in.

I'm just a meat-sack in Robo City,
Bio-based unit got no civil rights,
They don't want me, I don't wanna be here,
I sleep with a gun by the bed most nights.

Walking down the street while metal heads turn,
The hum of servos and the silent eyes,
They view our kind with suspicious hatred,
Only too happy when one of us dies.

Cindy I'll find you, whatever the cost,

Finally found her down by the Battery,
With both legs broken and no sign of life,
Took her body down to the repair shop,
In less than an hour they had fixed my wife.

Maybe some day both robots and humans,
Will understand how you can make me whole.
