Livin' with the Nuge

Met her at the party of a mutual friend,
Bonded over cocktails and we stayed to the end,
We liked the same movies and the we read the same books,
She was 'bout  a '9' if you're obsessed with looks.

We went together on a number of dates,
Her friends were cool and she got on with my mates,
Then I went and spoiled it in my I'll-judged haste,
I had to go and ask about her musical taste.

She said:

Said that there was nothing like a blast of Ted,
To get her in the mood when she got into bed.


She came to live with me and that was great,
We talked of marriage but decided to wait,
The gap between us was potentially huge,

I heard a rumour Ted was coming to town,
I hid the local paper, tried to play it down,
But then I heard her calling with immense delight,
"I scored a couple tickets for the concert tonight!"
