As the sun slips o so silently
Beyond the shining sea
I gaze in awe and wonder
At the majesty I see
The colours of the clouds and sky
Purple, orange, blue
That fade to starlit velvet black
The night comes softly through
Rain falls gently on the land
A wind sings through the trees
A shiver tingles on my skin
The heart at total ease
Time is short for everyone
Death comes round too fast
Live this life with fullness
Before your time is past
