I speak without a sound , no words to be found
I wait in the background
Where silence surrounds
Eyes shut so tight yet everything I still see
Am I blind or is the blindness in me

I hear the sound of laughter far away
Children playing in the park having fun today
I walk through the woods where no path is clear
Just trying to find the sound that I hear
Am I blind or is it something I fear

Am I blind or is the light in disguise
Is the truth a reflection or a trick for the eyes
Do I stumble through the darkness or just refuse to see

The sound still linger they dance in my mind
A riddle unanswered the truth hard to find
Do I see with my soul or just pretend to be

Is there sight beyond what the eyes cannot see
Or is everything just a mystery of reality
In the stillness , I search hoping to be free
