The Waterval band members came together to join produce with the possibilities of wikiloops an album with unreleased tracks.
More than 100 tracks have been uploaded for this. Andrea and Jose (bandleader), Eric and Willy took over the selection of tracks for the good first album of its kind http://www.wikiloops.com/album/7156-Waterval.php.
Balance: For a project to work purposefully together is joyful. Therefore, we have already established a sequel Waterval project II. We band members appreciate this wikiloops function we have not used in the past.
Thank you wikiloops, thank you Dick :)

May I ask? Are there any technical aspects to record the songs for a new album not in a studio with "open windows"? What is the benefit for you? I thought a album is just a selection of track-IDs?

Thank you for reporting a new way. I do not know this project (https://obsproject.com/), and none of us has mentioned that because it was clear that we wanted to stay in wikiloops. I'll be looking at this.

There is no technical advantage to have a bandroom with "closed windows".
I think the advantage is more of the social kind.
Just to give an example:
There also is also no "technical" advantage to have a bedroom where nobody can look in. Nevertheless all people which I know, put curtains in front of their bedroom windows, in order to avoid that anybody watches them "sleeping".

A new tape feature in WL?
Today sign 2 ways. One serves the free cooperation of invited musicians in the band room. The collaboration often produces an album.
Such a band is hardly noticed in the main auditorium. It does not have proper identification in Wikiloops and it takes a lot of marketing work in Wikiloops just to hear such tracks.
Coldplasma is now taking the right path by making the collaboration visible through a new, paid Wikiloops account.
But this only makes sense when in the newly created band-Acoount, the followers of the individual band members automatically become band followers. So in my opinion a band account would be attractive. Your opinion would interest me.

I support wikiloops because I once didn't have money and really wanted to have a database like this! Now that I do have a little more money, I can help!
