I found this stunning piece of music, and couldn't resist playing on it. I have a deep love of Indian music, and play the tabla amongst other things. I find the music very enriching and full of interesting colours. Perhaps a nice acoustic guitar, strings, or a vocal would sound lovely over this? I added Drums, and various percussive instruments. Please can I introduce this fabulous Bollywood track called Pee Lon, played by :- Gurbani Bhatia - Piano Original Music - Priam Chakravarty

pconey I don't know. I think you could play some strings, acoustic guitar, a vocal obviously, and its just a light keyboard bass, so I think a bass could be played over it. +2

GlezBass The track have a bass line no? I could try to reduce the level and record something over, playlisted. To continue in the jam we must be sure that it does not have copyrights, otherwise Dick can eliminate it ....;) +2

pconey Ok, well it came from a free music website. So Im unaware of any copyright. I hope it is ok. I wish there was more music like this on wikiloops. Where are all the indian musicians? African musicians? +1

pconey I also double checked the rules even about music posted on a free website with a female vocalist who is from India to make sure I wasn't doing anything incorrect. I was told that if I credit the artists (which I have), its perfectly acceptable. +2

Very cool! I like the feel of this - particularly the bhangra(?) type rhythm at 0:50. Quite an involved tune but will give it a download... +1

pconey Thanks Groove, yes it is a Bhangra rhythm which is based on triplets. Im sure something can be done over this! +0
