It is the first time that I play slap with 5 strings, if it is already difficult with 4 you can imagine with 5 !!! It's the slap premiere of my new toy. Sorry for some notes outside groove, but I have to get used to the fifth string with slap technique;) BASS: The Foddy Fodera Chinese Butterfly 5 strings See you photos in my showcase ;)

GlezBass Sure! I tried to do this action with EQ in the DAWN, but a signal like the one you comment on GBD is always better, I still have to become more expert with the EQ of this bass. Thanks for the feedback :) +1

GBD Beautiful looking bass. I had a learning curve on my Ibanez 5 string went from simple passive treble cut to 3 band EQ. Mine is very sensitive a little goes a long way. Enjoy for me learning a new bass or guitar is super fun. :D +1

A fundamental reason to acquire it was the slap,I explored a 4-string version with same setup (Marcus Miller V7) and I liked it, I decided to expand on this new one under a fifth string. Time will tell if I get used to it. At the moment it has a stronger slap in this thick string :) +0

:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o que sonidazo, que buen slap muy bien en todos los sentidos, se comprende lo difícil que es habituarse a esa cuerda extra con el slapp pero nada mal mi estimado...insisto sonidazo uffff +1

GlezBass Como apuntaba GBD quiza requiera ma definicion el sonido, no recuerdo ahora si grabe con pastilla sola del mastil o 50/50% mastil/puente, pero no queda mal el resultado final. Me tengo que acostumbrar a mutear la quinta cuando pegue mas abajo y hacerlo mas paralelo a las cuerdas. Antes con la 4 cuerda tocaba con menos finura porque no habia nada arriba de ella je je. Todo es practicar! +1
