abuitremorem Erich, I feel the same way. I can play straight to your bass without thinking, just listening, and it's like I know beforehand what you're going to play. Of course it's not always that easy. But here it is. I miss my guitars in Switzerland. I cannot play acoustically or only under difficult conditions. And then I bought Idiot a bad guitar (western silent). I will add nylon strings to these in the next few days. Even if the instrument should be destroyed ..... +3

I LOVE your music and thesis a change of pace and I would love to hear you play more like this because you have a Wonderful approach to improv and at slow tempos you show how very good you are!!!! I cherish the art of theta development and you do it own all your music but here with a total Jazz background, I hear so much Wonderful interplay for you to develop melodic themes that fits so well wit Eric's Jazz playing. that This is Excellent, Rene!! +3

abuitremorem Thank you Dan for this great compliment. It means a lot to me. It motivates me and is also a gift, your outside view. The topic of theta development is new to me. I just play out of my gut, spontaneously without thinking. It usually works with Eric. I know that I use jazz-like tones, but not only. This is in contrast to what I'm doing now. I get to know my DAW better and have in my head what I have learned about jazz. This is above all a system and a fascinating system. My guitar teacher in Poland opened my eyes for that.

But a look at the real books scares me from the right jazz. There seems to be interpretation before (my idea of) improvisation. I now know that this is an illusion. I actually believed for a long time that blues and flamenco were always arrested at the moment, so they were improvised. An idiotic mistake - maybe I just didn't want to see the truth.:D +1

Itocpogo Rene, I realize the "right" way to play Jazz is for only the GREATS because the artist must practice at least 5-6 hours a day for 6-8 years when they are young because Jazz requires that dedication to be really good. But most people like me and you can not practice that much even in our youth because we have "responsibilities". I did practice 2-3 hours a day from 14-17 yrs old and then "life" took over so I still practiced byt never achieved the skill to play what I call correct jazz. So... do not be frightened that you are not doing right. That is what is Great about improv music... especially if you do not have to rely on it to make a living.. just do your best and play with musicians who appreciate your efforts!!! +2

It’s a very magical alchemy when musicians who inspire each other meet, I believe it is the highest form of communication and can become pure telepathy.....I am sorry to hear you are missing your guitars abu.....I hope this situation will change for you soonest possible, meantime it’s great you make music however possible for our enjoyment<3:W:D +2

It is true that communication with Eric is particularly easy for me, for inexplicable reasons. However, I don't know what I would have played if you had uploaded your drums directly to Eric's track. The question is also whether you would only have played the same for the bass as for the track with Alex. It would have resulted in a different communication for three. Interesting!!!:D +2
