Alex and Eric I hope I have not constrained the flight of this wonderful free form music .... Its already on its own to make a fantastic film score......Then I thought what about playing it as a band might, but due to my poor limitations had to try and stick bpm's...anyway somone has to be boringly predictable:) Thank you for inspiration, fun and listening

I think this works superbly. Not at all what I would have thought would have worked. But it does. If you had laid this down first none of the playing that I put down would have happened. And above all its really nice Jazz drumming. Not leaden and lumpy as some can be. Really light and colourful. I remember back in the day dealing with drummers that weren’t used to playing jazz and getting them to lose the bass/kick drum. Taking it away physically. That made them think. And when I was teaching combos at Massey University I would make the drummers lose the cymbals too. Only snare and hi hat and one tom. That made time think too. And then play only with their hands, no sticks or brushes. Dynamics changed then. Man that was interesting. I did the same with the sax players too of course. Only one hand (left of course) or restricted range (Low Bb to G just the 6th) etc piano players too. No left hand. That really challenged a few. Anyway. Great stuff Peter. Top add to this track<3 +3

PJE It’s wonderful to have your classy inspiration as everything you do is profoundly thoughtful, experimental and pushes the boundaries.........there is , nothing musically safe or not permissible and that to me is cutting edge and truly Avant-garde.
