PaulM44 I agree totally. I spent 5 years learning classical acoustic guitar (age 60) but soon discovered it was keeping me from creative freedom. I picked up a beginners flute and just started playing to jazz and told my fingers to just play the note I was thinking about. It took about a year to really connect. Now its all about the rest of it -- lip position, expression, breath, intuition.....JOY at 76.
Now I am relearning to play guitar the same way. :W +1
