Wonderful Dan! I am reading a book about the history of jazz in Germany. Swing was a force that the Nazis tried to fight, but did not manage - and ultimately, to build their own jazz orchestra for war propaganda abroad (England). this track helps me to imagine something of that fascination at the time. +1

Itocpogo Thank You so much, Rene!!!! I believe with all my heart that during the WWII era, "Swing" showed people all around the world that all people should be "free" and respected by their Governments. "Swing' came at the right time, just listening to it, made people feel "happy" and they wanted to share that joy with others. I know when I was learning, the joy I felt playing in my first Big Band was as if I was in Heaven. So Yes, I believe "Swing" weakened the Nazis because the German people wanted to be happy and free and moments of hearing "Swing" maybe from England even for a few seconds gave them hope and strength. +1
