Im hazy it's the time of year,
it's cold outside so you grab another beer,
feet up watch your favourite shows,
looking out the window, wondering where time goes,
throwback to the summer, hanging on the riverside,
rolling grass with the boys not a worry on my mind,
kicking with a football, life was so simple,
I remember all those times, they made who I turned into,
can't help but smile, friends back then no longer by your side,
huh, life's one big ride, ups and downs, can't predict the next 5,
no i tried, but i can't do it, surfed one wave but the next drag me through it,
one thing i've learnt, is wear your helmet proud,
there's always something trying to knock you to the ground,

im starting a trek, a cruise a journey,
