I drove by the turn for St. Clair
I wondered who might still be there


So I went back to my home town
It looked so small and kinda run down
But I drove slow down Maple street
and it took me back to 83


That little town where we grew up
with tractors, cows and pickup trucks
that time seems a million miles away
but I still see us like yesterday

where we carved our names in that old tree
and it felt so good with your arms round me
