Absolutely not... there's times for dirty quick ideas and times for clean recordings with listening over and over before uploading. Both can be fun ;)

I think that depends on your role you choose for the particular song... you can be a simple song writer just sharing an idea, a cool jazz cat, an old school surf guitar player... magic of the loops that is not possible in an "ordinary" band :D
