Blue Man (2yr Re-Visit)
almost 2 years ago i joined wikiloops, "blue man" was my first track - #195476 . to be honest, i don't like the way track #195476 sounds today lol. mixing was new to me, and my guitar was always loud. it's probably still loud today, but maybe just not as loud :) my equipment has changed, as well as my musical style, thanks to the wonderful musicians on wikiloops. i wanted to re-visit this track again today and see how ...

So cool Nick! :W:W Your growth during that first year must have been a rocket ride because you kill it in your remixes and templates. Great work brotha, this is really good. <3
I'm still DAW newb and I'm learning new tricks all the time. I only recently learned how to fix timing problems and I'm just now learning how to find the tempo in a song when it's not posted so I can set my metronome. :D:DB) +1

i don't even do DAW, so i need to explore that as well...always stuff to learn. the mixing stuff, was sort of an unexpected but welcomed opportunity to learn. i still suck at it, but i've improved overall from when i started. jamming with all these wonderful people and their instruments, and tapping into genres i wouldn't normally jam to, really makes this platform amazing. thanks brotha for the comment and for the jams, always a pleasure to hear you and jam with you <3

That's impressive! And when I look at myself, I feel the same way. It's a great thing to make music together with so many ambitious musicians, you can learn a lot. :W

so true Peter. for me, i think having the opportunity to play along with instruments i would never get a chance to jam with, is such a game changer. having played rock music primarily (jamming with guitar, bass, drums), then the opportunity to play with musicians who play keys, sax, flute, etc. really changes the landscape. thank you Peter for the jams <3

Man this is frickin awesome .. it is slick and smooth and a great sound! I just listened to your other take too ... fantastic, it's got a more "raw" sound IMO with an attitude.. wicked! Both great, like apples and oranges! :W:D:W Thanks for revisiting, a pleasure!!
