Fake thinking again
Tenor add to this jazzy track. Still not happy about my mix. Sax sounds a bit disembodied. Any suggestions welcome.

your playing is good. The sound could be better though. Easy fix: the microphone should be no more than 30 cm away from the G key on the sax and NOT aimed at the bell. hard to know if your microphone is any good as you're so far away from it. Really fine playing though.

I have an old Shure mic normally OK when put through the analog digital converter but not when put through the Yamaha THR10 amp. More experimentation needed! Thanks for the compliment.

I don't understand. Why are you using an amplifier? Are you then using another microphone for recording?

No the unit is also an effects unit but designed for guitar (and very good too) but clearly not for sax
