I took a close look at the clock tonight
It's 10pm the night is still very young
Strolled downtown cause all moths seek the light
A million clubs did wait for me to come along

I went up and down the street -
felt a grief would take the lead
kicked a can to hear the echoing sound
Flashy Phantasies in black and white,
noisy sounds and blurry sight
I realized that no one was around

Look to the right
Look to the left
avoid a fight
and don't get effed

I jumped into my car
I knew I didn't get far
It didn't matter I just wanted to get out
of this black and white street
leave the echoes of my feed
Was too blurry way too flashy and too loud

I crept out of my car
Indeed I didn't get far
The city sounds though have been out of my way
But now outside of the town
I will stay all alone
There aren't clubs where I could go and I could stay

I finally understood
To have some fun I should
Go back and and try to see the happy things around
And with a smile on my face
I found the better place
The city now looked so much nicer than I found
