From the acoustic drum den. As the title suggest the tempo (BPM) changes in this free form drum track. Would love to hear some creative adds to this. Enjoy

Nick a magician never tells his secrets ;)
...but yeah I use a click track and broke it into sections..then stitched it together in the DAW after the fact...LOL:D I still dont have a PC set-up where I have the acoustic drums set-up to mix those in with Wikiloops tracks or adds yet. They are going from a mixer into an older digital recorder. The Roland ekit is in my recording room with my PC, etc since they are all MIDI out and VST. +1

cool deal Ron, i wasn't wanting the secret recipe :) was just curious. if it was just by "feel", i'd probably jam from beginning to end, rather than in segments, like i normally do.
question, i do see people label "acoustic drums", is that just "live drums"? +1

Yes these are played on real drums, not my Electronic kit...so I say acoustic drums to differentiate..and played live..LOL

I owned every album up until Topographic Oceans then I kinda shifted away but I still listen to their older stuff .This tracks great .Such awesome musicianship :W

This was off the "Drama" album which was kinda strange because it had Trevor Horn on vocals and Geoff Downes on keys. The band was kinda in limbo here and this was the only album with this line-up and it was sort of looked down on by the hardcore Yes fans...but I actually Love the album for what it is. It is really good if you just unplug your brain it isn't Jon Anderson singing, etc...but Howe, Squire, and White are still killing it here. Trevor Horn is a massively talented guy and producer....and who doesnt like the "Buggles"???:W Here i some Buggles....:D
