Wade In my opinion the difference between crass pop culture and art is that pop stuff leaves nothing to the imagination. It's vocals with a repeated phrase aimed at people with a 10 second or less attention span. Art has depth and invites the listener/viewer to see and hear more than what's on the surface. What isn't explicitly seen or heard allows the viewer/listener to engage their imagination. +1
