I want a pink and purple car with red and yellow spots

And everyone would look down
As we drove around town shouting

I want a pair of platform shoes, the brightest I can choose
With lots of shiny bows in wild electric blues
We'll be wearing matching sweaters
With psychedelic letters
saying Here comes Stevie and Shamika

We'll live in an apartment with sunshine orange walls
And a doorbell that plays Beatles song when everybody calls
I'll paint a rainbow over the bed with fairy lights that glow
You'll hang a disco ball overhead with shag-pile carpet below

I want 100 coloured balloons with a message on each one
"I love you" "Be my Baby" "Sweetest Angel" and so on
And in the garden there'd be flowers of every single hue
That spelt out Stevie Hearts Shamika

I want to sail across the ocean in an emerald rowing boat
With red sails in the Sunset, so everyone will gloat
And when we reach the other side well surf the azure tide
And shout "We're here everyone"

We'd never have a single thing that wasn't grey or beige or black
Just a Golden Labrador and a big, fat ginger cat
We'd have a 1950s record player to play our favourite tune
Then we'd listen to Pink Floyd all day
But we'd never play "The dark side of the Moon
