Thanks Nick, it's one of my bag-o-tricks things. I try to gallop three fingers on the pick hand and finger a fret at the same time as I pluck - then I play down a scale pattern, but like a rapid thing. Not sure where I picked it up but it seems like I've done it forever. That's how I do those crazy jazz pieces, but usually it's only for short bursts where drum fills happen. Glad it translated!!
