Storm of the Devil
As I was playing the keyboard I could hear the rain and thunder outside my room. I grabbed a mic and tried to record it thinking of adding it to the mix.
At the end I gave up because of too much hissing sound and trouble to EQ .
I found decent rain and thunder FX on Logic.
(Has anyone managed to record the rain properly ?)

i particularly like this kind of sound (repetitive/hypnotic) Did you use a Jazz Chorus amp by chance ?

i don't recall the amp simulation, but i do typically use Fender/Jazz tremolo/chorus stuff.

Good add for this fine track. The rain mix is good. I've recorded a chorus of frogs in the rain, but it's otherwise very quiet.so no other sounds to disturb. Used a Zoom 4 recorder.
