Echoes of Myself
After listening to some live recordings of Radiohead from 1995, I started thinking about how I felt back then at 20. Compared to now, I was deeply melancholic and directionless, but because of that, also alive and full of emotions. With maturity and daily routines, life now moves in more structured paths, but in quiet moments, when there’s nothing to do, the longing to feel life more intensely returns. Today, I wrote this track inspired by those feelings.

I was 14 when Creep came out. Until hearing this song, I had listened to nothing but country music and 80's pop. I heard this tune and never looked back to country again. It completely changed how I listen to music. I have been a grunge, rock, metal girl ever since. :) Lovely composition here, eothen.

Grunge is still a big part of my identity. Concert tee, jeans, flannel and converse is 95% of my wardrobe. 🤷♀️🤘🏻 But I was in 8th grade when AIC were at their height of fame. So I grew up with a lot of these bands. AIC is still my fav band of all time. :)
