Many of you were worried to hear from me about the flooding in Valencia, and I wanted to thank you all for your kind messages.
I was very lucky this week: I was in Switzerland with my children when the worst happened, and the historic center of Valencia where I live was not affected.
I returned to Valencia on Friday afternoon and I am deeply saddened by the situation. There are still many people missing.
SEDAJAZZ, the jazz school where I gave jazz violin lessons last year, was devastated. It is located in Sedavi, a small town on the edge of Valencie which was very affected. A great solidarity has been born and they are doing a magnificent job to refurbish the school. They collected donations to save the school. The extra money they don't need goes to the La Torre aid center which is in dire need of help. I have complete confidence in their management of funds.

Today, I don't have the heart to talk about music, but I still want to share some, to lighten my heart a little and yours too I hope.
