Aito I wanted to use slightly higher notes because I can't play them. It was good practice.

I am very grateful that I have chosen a bass guitar. Electric guitar strings would be too small for me. Probably the instrument alone would feel like a toy because of its size. 😁 +1

Aito Funk is something I want to learn. I don't like it as music, but I want to learn the best parts of its groove and combine it with rock music.

I didn't try to play Funk music in this song though. I just played that because it sounded cool. So my basic tactic, with luck, not with skill.😁 +1

rootshell it's definitely part of developing your own style, there may be genres you don't particularly like, but maybe a groove you may take from it and add to your arsenal of playing/style. super cool playing my friend. i think i heard someone say genres are going away anyways, so we may not have genres really as music progresses forward :W:W +1

Aito I don't think genres ever die. A basic human need is to belong to a group. Young people in particular always want their own thing to belong to. +1

Aito And thank you. I can't play the bass, but sometimes I manage to do cool stuff with little skills. :D

I'm excited to see what I'll sound like in the future. Wikiloops is a good place because i can always listen to old songs if i feel like that i haven't learned anything new. It always cheers me up when i notice that i have improved. +1

Aito Rootshell is probably the most versatile music maker that Wikiloops currently has.

In fact, one of his songs is reason why I'm on this site. For fun, I made bassline for it, just to see if I could play bass even little bit. After that try i have made over 100 songs 😁 +1
