Low E String Contest
Goal: To see who has the longest sustaining Lower E string
Rules:
Any stringed instrument is welcome but it must be the lowest E. No Ds or Cs allowed.
Record your lower E string vibrating .
YOU ARE ALLOWED to squeeze and shake the guitar.
Feedback IS allowed to elongate the sustain.
You are allowed to increase volume of the sustain in the DAW to make it heard.
Kist NO EDITING. Keep it honest.
Editing IS NOT ALLOWED.This is to see who has the longest vibrating ...

Ill say this tactfully and avoid being course or vulger, but IMHO it looks like spermozoa roadside kill. Theres no squiggle in the tail so it looks like its deceased on the side of the highway whilst traveling westbound to to Egg City, population 1Im also observing Rigor Mortis in the tail region as it is flat and stiff.. Anyhoo....you asked...I...I...thats what I see.You asked...This wasnt a psychological test was it?....

I did a track with MPointon once and was playing with feedback by humping the monitor like Jimi Hendrix. Oh that hurt but it sounded cool. Its all after 0:38 when the guitar starts. #188433

yes, It's a 1990 Ibanez 540S
Same pic ups and floyd rose as in the image link. As for the issue took it to a self proclaimed luthier here who did not have a truss rodd adjustment tool to fit so he without asking me set it up for a half step down from standard tuning. Maybe mine is the same in natural wood finish, I just upgraded it with a real Floyd Rose.
I will probably change pick up soon.

I think I bought mine either 90 or 91...real floyd rose came with it...however, the neck and frets need some work these days ...25 years about....of hard play...this pic is not actually mine but same features...the color of mine is called black cherry which from a distance looks black..
