Intro = Sleep is good, sleep is nice so sleep your life away

Sometimes I sit and watch TV, I feel alert and bright.
But pretty soon my eyelids drop, I have no strength to fight.
I know where this is going, it happens every night.
But sleep is good, sleep is nice, sleep is my delight.

Then often when I\'m in the Sun, perhaps on holiday
I want to be observant, just enjoy my stay.
But as soon as I get comfortable my lazy brain will say
\"Sleep is good, sleep is nice so sleep your life away\"

You need to take a break from being awake you need to rest your mind.
Travel to the land of Nod and leave the World behind.
Slumber is the perfect drug to get you through the day
It\'s not a waste, you\'ll get the taste to sleep your life away.
Whether you sleep is short or long, while you\'re in Dreamland you can do no wrong.
When you\'re sleeping you take no blame \'cuz while you sleep you\'re out of the game.
Sleep is just like dying but not so permanent, where you go, you\'ll never know but it must be Heaven sent.
You get there without trying, it\'s a real big mystery.
