GlezBass Glad you like it!! Since 2014 I've been recording bass lines here in multiple ways and with many basses (more than 20 or 30). In the end, my technique is to play with the EQ of the bass itself while active and then add subtle VST effects in Reaper (compressor, reverb, chorus...) taking great care that the signal doesn't saturate due to the power output of the signal from the bass. +2

SunnyJazz86 I've noticed that as well recently, I use reason Studios and I use to run my channel through their bass cab, but I recently started running it raw off the guitar eq with simple compression and ive been loving the results +0
