So, if I had the G2M, would I just need a midi to USB cable to be able to access the VSTi's in my DAW? +1

GlezBass Exactly ... although I have not tested it yet in a laptop DAW with vst sounds, on the manufacturer's website they say it can be used in this way, you only need a cable that converts the G2M's MIDI output to Usb, although There is another Sonuus model that comes directly with usb and is this -> http://www.sonuus.com/products_i2m_mp.html

I prefer the G2M because it can be connected directly to a 5-pin pin of any keyboard and also has thru signal output to preserve the original sound of the guitar B) +0
