freetless onestring
selfmade instrument years ago. one string on a woodstick. with pickup and selfmade bridge from ebony. i thought it could sound like a bass sitar (but never realy did). sound made with 1 recording offset in 3 tracks with different panning in my sequenzer . no effects added. i am realy looking forward to your replies. so please think as an sound-experiment about it. i put a picture of it in my showcase.

Interesting sound and concept! I had a look at the picture, and i posted a question there :) Can re-post here ;) When you push the string a bit down on the neck does the string hit the pickup?

I used a 9 volt block-type battery and tilted it betweeen the woodstick and the string. Sorry my englisch is not so good. I will share another picture.

problem solved: i take a bootleneck under the string. gives me much more freedom in the playing. new song with it is on wikiloops.
