Face the wall

* I was inspired by Aito's response in the Aimee Asks thread. Just a short poem which I (or anyone) could narrate or sing over something perhaps. I laid it out with the rhymes at the ends of the lines.

Turn your face to the wall, do not look away
Retribution has arrived, this will be the day.
Keep your eyes straight ahead
think of all the things you've said,
and the things you should have done instead
of circling manically around
like a rabid dog in a padded pound
barking and biting
cursing and smiting
chasing your tail
in your self-imposed jail

You must be stopped
the helium balloon will soon be popped
after your sorry soul has risen
freeing you from your gloom ridden prison
No, screams, no shouts, no cries!
But before you say your last goodbyes
to us all
turn your face to the wall
