After already so great bass lines with different approaches were uploaded, somewhat delayed now mine. I was not so satisfied with the mixing at first, had to rework it, ... hope that now works so and the bass gives good punch.

Thanks Christian!! But I really struggled with the track. It was quite good that Ernie had already created a bassline. So I could see how he got around the cliffs that came up for me....:):)

Yes, I know it's often not that easy to play my drums because some figures come so randomly/unexpectedly, but you both mastered it my friend, hats off :W

Oh crap, I accidentally deleted my comment. No idea if you had already read it. Anyway, I was glad about your words. I have the 5-string now on Drop A (yes that works) and when slap on the low ones can be achieved with better playability additionally more interesting overtones Fieldy described that once. ...only now I have to work out the fretboard again. I would not have thought that one can come so in the bushes...

I read the comment, yes. 5 strings were once my bass of choice but after taking a couple years off, I sold them and bought 4 strings. I sometimes use a bass with a hipshot on it live, but rarely. I wind my e-string down to a D for recording. The depth of your tone is just terrific, real bass! I'm a sucker for deep bass. :-)

Thanks Fabricio, ...I had to check this out!!! https://youtu.be/4PxgDVFOpF0 gives information. Interesting how he makes the bass sound. He has a lot of reverb on it. I avoided that until now. So something to explore:D:D

Thanks Pat, glad you stopped by and even more glad you didn't turn the track off right away. Would have feared that this comes along a bit too brute... when I then hear your fine, tuned and balanced tracks, oh oh....
