Yesss... In a homemade but efficient way I have removed the frets and applied a few layers of cyanoacrylate to a Strat guitar, and the result is in the photo!!! and here the sound!! more ... #255483

Yesss, based on the work of sanding and sanding and sanding!!! Apply cyanoacrylate to the fret stripes to level them out and keep them dark. Now maybe later I will apply more layers of cyanoacrylate to "mirror" the fretboard little by little ;)

I have done that. Use very fine polishing snadpaper 2000-6000 grit to polish. Alot of patience! Good luck!If it works on classic automobile finishes it will work on polishing the guitar finish.

On my fretless bass I used the 2000 and after several layers of sanding it works!!! the more the better and maybe then a polish will work too!! Thank you for your advice!!
