Whoa! Sure does sound like the Who! But more so it has a Robert Plant "Pictures At Eleven " quality also and I LOVE that album! Its really "Pictures At Eleven" ish!

I actually have two friends who know Townshend personally. My friend Jan was Cozy Powells girlfriend back in the day. She gifted Pete with a custom strap she made for him. First one. She made for Plant ,Brian May(He actually baby sat her kids for an hour) UFO and shes besties with Def Leppard.Like go to their house for dinner kind of besties! Her and Joe Elliot are freaking tight.

I actually have a custom strap from her which makles me part of an exclusive club.

My other friend did lighting on the Stones historic 72 tour. Dave Pelletier. He worked with lots of folks thru Tyco Sound back in the 70s. He is famous for being the guy that got Keith Richards and Chuck Berry on stage together(The infamous show where Berry punched Richards in the face). He did lighting for the Who as well and gets all the VIP backstage stuff. His rock stories are incredible.

My friend Jan..(Townshend is wired from stage energy not cocaine!)Thats Entwhistle behind her.

My strap that Jan made me...It is one of my most prized possessions:

My friend Dave. This is from his private photo album on facebook which has a treasure of behind the scenes rock pics. (I have permission to share). The man is a legend and responsible for modern rock concert lighting. He told me those lights got the stage up to 160 F by the shows finale.

MySounds Brian May does baby sitting?? Right, now where can I rent a baby for an hour???
Closest I`ve come is sharing a table at breakfast with UFO after a gig in Spain, swapping memories with Vinnie Moore of past UFO concerts and being introduced to the fine art of storing Whisky by Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt of Status Quo at a friends house. Alas no WHO.

JoeOnBass LOL, the Who reference was to the original title of the song, but WOW, what a great share!! I knew someone who asked me a couple years back to look at a photo from his friends back yard party (big money people) and he asked me who the guy singing was. This was at a house in New York. It was Daltry! the guy hired Roger Daltry to play at his barbecue!! Can you imagine? I've always cherished every note they laid down, the best rock ever came out of England, and the Who were as good as it gets!! As for the Plant stuff, every solo album was amazing and influential to me. Pictures at Eleven is a definite keeper. Those straps are great! Another talent I wish I had. My wife gave me two wide straps at Christmas of that ilk, absolutely awesome! These photos are gold!! Thanks for sharing. +1

LittleWing @rootshell She just decided I am "Dragons, Moons and Stars". She has a thing for fairies, and added one in the detail.

Great. Very helpful for me when I compare it to my feeble attempt. My playing is all over the place while your take is ... how it should be. +1

JoeOnBass It's a fine compliment, but I don't believe your playing is any way different. We all just play what we feel, I think every take is great! Yours, mine, everyones. +1
