Woke up to the Sun this morning
And I had a few thoughts
I told myself maybe I’ll just go for a walk
Saw a man living in a box
Had to ask myself what happened to him?
I don’t know..

Maybe too much wine
Maybe just a little bit of too many drugs
But I can’t judge him
Cause I don’t know.
I see the faces
They’re lost in a haze
They’re trying to break free
In a million different ways
The weight of the world
It’s pulling me down
But in every struggle
There’s a strength that’s found
In my soul

Each moment whispers
The lessons I’ve learned
As I walk on down to the very next curb
There’s a girl over there
She’s sitting on those stairs
With an empty look, it scares my soul
What happened to her
Who hurt her? I don’t know
I guess that’s how things they go
But ya can’t give up
Don’t give up on that love
Deep inside you
Cause a new days coming soon
You better know it
So I’ll keep walking with no fear in my stride
With hope in my heart with dreams as my guide
I went walking down the road today
And I’ll find my way come what may
I ain’t gonna give up
Journey through the shadows
I’ll find my light one way or another

Walking through the chaos
And I’m ready to fight
Every step I take
I’m learning to grow
Life’s a winding road
That’s how much I know
Thoughts like thunder
Racing in my mind
Searching for the answers
What will I find

Woven in the grace of my mind
In a heart of sorrow
There’s a saving place
Each moment whispers
Lessons learned
As the pages of life start to turn

I feel the changes.
